Who we are
HomeReel is a service for real estate brokers in Lebanon to publish apartment listings with a walkthrough video and share them on WhatsApp. Contact: mahmoodhoussein@gmail.com.
Information we collect from brokers
- Phone number, used to sign in, and the WhatsApp number clients use to contact you.
- Profile: display name, areas you work in, preferred language.
- Listings: type, price, area name (never an exact address), size, rooms, description, and the walkthrough video you upload.
- Sign-in codes: stored only in hashed form and valid for a few minutes.
Information about visitors
People who open a listing page don't need an account. We count page views, taps on the WhatsApp button and shares to show brokers how their listings perform. These counts contain no names, phone numbers or other personal details; we only keep the name of the website a visitor came from (for example whatsapp.com). We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use information
- To sign brokers in and keep their account secure.
- To show listing pages and videos that brokers choose to publish and share.
- To show brokers simple statistics about their listings.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Services we use
- Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) delivers sign-in codes to your WhatsApp.
- Microsoft Azure (Europe) hosts the application and database.
- Cloudflare stores and delivers listing videos and hosts this website.
Contact between clients and brokers happens directly in WhatsApp; HomeReel doesn't read or store those conversations.
What is public
A listing you mark as available, its video, and your display name and WhatsApp number are visible to anyone with the link. Listings you mark as rented, sold or archived are no longer shown.
Keeping and deleting information
You can edit or archive your listings at any time; removing or replacing a video deletes it from storage. To delete your account and all its data, email us and we'll do it within 30 days.
Children
HomeReel is intended for professional brokers and isn't directed at people under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and tell brokers in the app when the change matters.
